Customised Employment
illustration animation
A suite of training animations helping employers and support networks understand and embrace Customised Employment for people with disability.
Problem
Imagine More works to help people with disability get the good things of life, but securing meaningful work can come with real barriers, many of them rooted in employers simply not understanding what Customised Employment looks like in practice. Imagine More needed a teaching resource that could educate employers and supporters while also making a clear case for the benefits it brings to a workplace.
Solution
Customised Employment starts with the person rather than the job, so I built a core set of character personas to carry that idea across the whole video suite. The style stayed clean and professional throughout, deliberately avoiding anything that could read as childish, since the goal was to be taken seriously by employers while still staying approachable for the families and supporters watching alongside them.
Why it works
A clean, professional art style puts this on equal footing with any other workplace training content an employer might watch, rather than looking like a disability-specific afterthought. Pairing that with direct visual walkthroughs of the actual process, from discovery through to a role taking shape, means viewers leave with a concrete idea of what Customised Employment looks like in practice, not just the concept behind it.
