A calm, character-led animation explaining the benefits of Eevi's personal medical alarms to visitors on their website.

Problem

Personal medical alarms are an emotional purchase, often bought by an adult child worried about an ageing parent living alone. Eevi needed a way to explain how the system actually works (the alarm, the call centre, the response) without leaning on clinical or frightening imagery that could put people off.

Solution

Working in-house with RUCKUS Studio, I designed and illustrated the characters and backgrounds, centring the story on a grandmother and her two grandchildren in a warm, minimal living room, then extended that same calm visual language into the behind-the-scenes shots of the help centre and support team. I then helped the team at RUCKUS bring the illustrations to life in animation.

Why it works

Showing a loving, everyday family scene rather than a medical emergency reframes the product around independence and care rather than fear. Pairing that with a quick look at the real people monitoring and responding to calls builds trust in the service itself, not just the device.
