illustration animation

A suite of short animations designed to fit into training and collateral made by Bravehearts Foundation.

Problem

Bravehearts were producing education resources that needed to appeal to a young audience. They had recorded young adults speaking about these issues, but needed a solution to visually represent these tricky topics in an engaging way.

Solution

To tackle this a series of short videos were storyboarded and workshopped with the team.

Each video was a quick story told from a young person’s perspective and centred around topics like emotional intelligence, toxic relationships, personal boundaries and sexting.

The focus was to maintain a simple sketched, hand-drawn look that would feel at home with other videos Bravehearts had created in the past. This allowed more time to invest into exploring different locations and concepts, which helped to keep the animations short, relevant and engaging.
